Yes — creating and organising pools is free, with up to 30 contributors per pool. There's no monthly cost and no subscription. Squared only takes a small 0.9% fee per contributor, capped at R10 per person, plus the payment processing fee.
Payouts run on Paystack's South African settlement cycle: card payments settle to your bank account on a T+2 business-day basis, so a payment made on Monday reaches you on Wednesday. Payments made over a weekend or public holiday settle on the following business days.
